For this project, I was asked to redesign a website that I thought looked outdated. I chose MyAnimeList because I have been a longtime user, and I noticed that the layout feels old. There is a lot of empty space, and the design makes the pages feel long and slow to scroll through.
This project really pushed me to use all of my Figma skills. It had the most details and the most information packed into one design compared to my other projects so far. I wanted the viewing experience to feel modern, so people could imagine using the new version of the site today. The hardest part was creating a new layout that included all the important information from the original pages, while also keeping it clean, organized, and easy to use.
